Movie Review (2012) and Then Some...*updated*

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 17, 2009, 12:04 PM
First off, I think it's awesome that the movie Ninja Assassin is letting us use any journal skin for free. I like this one, it's purrrty. *pets dragon*

OMG, I am a huge football fan and got to watch my team play their biggest rival yesterday, and WIN!!!!!! Yes, my Indianapolis Colts played the New England Patriots, and won a splendid close victory of 35-34. It certainly was the biggest game of the decade, as Colts vs Patriots games usually are. BUT IT WAS A-FREAKIN-MAZING!!!! My big brother Ryan watched it with me, as he normally does, and we both feared the Colts were doomed in the 4th quarter when they were losing 34-14. Considering their defense was shot, many of their best players were out (poor Sanders), and they were down 20 points, (and the Patriots are dirty players to begin with) they still pulled it together and made the Patriots do some stupid stuff and force the coach to make some stupid calls. AND WON!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing game it was. Ryan and myself wanted to scream for joy when the Colts made their last touchdown, giving them the lead, with only a few seconds left in the game. I asked for a miracle, and somehow they provided. So now, the Colts are 9-0, undefeated so far...knock on wood. Such a sweet victory, and I hope to maybe see them in the Super Bowl XLIV. GO COLTS!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!

And now for that Movie Review of 2012:
Whoa. What. A. Movie. Yes, I thought it was that cool. Well, a movie about the end of the world might not seem cool to lots of people, but it was amazing how the movie played out. And the CGI and graphics were just...mind-blowing! I seriously think that parts of the movie should be made into a theme park ride, like a 4-D ride or something. That idea probably won't go over well with the ride makers though. "Yeah, lets make a ride about the end of the world where you are driving through a city that's falling all around you from a massive earthquake, then you get on a plane and you have to take off before the ground opens up to swallow you, AND there's a volcano that you have to get away from before the ash cloud envelopes the plane, WHILE dodging flaming chunks of LAVA!!!" Why not? It'd be pretty cool! Overall, 2012 was a good movie. It had humor, it had sadness, it had suspense and everything in between. I was definately on the edge of my seat during some scenes, literally. As for the date that the movie is based off of, 12-21-2012, and supposed the end of the world according to the Mayans and quite a few other cultures, I'm skeptical. Part of me thinks something might happen on that date, the other half of me doesn't believe anything is going to happen. But I DO know, because of this movie, everyone is going to panic on that date because they think the world is going to end. Eh, we'll just have to find out. Only time will tell. Do go see 2012 though, it's pretty exciting, thrilling, awesome, inspiring, amazing...etc. And do stay around for the credits to hear Adam Lamberts' song Time For Miracles. It's an amazing song and that guy has SUCH an amazing voice. But why do all the cute ones have to be gay?

In theory, and this is just my personal opinion and thoughts, the end may actually be near. Might be sooner that 2012, might be a whole lot later than 2012. If you look at the stuff that has been happening around the globe, the natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes in odd places like Canada), the freaky weather, global warming (don't even get me started), and lots of other stuff I can't quite remember...if you add all that up, it may seem like the end of days. And look how insane humans are going these days! I can't even watch the news anymore because it's so depressing and always about someone killing someone else and all these disturbing things that are right in my own neighborhood. Pretty soon, someone is gonna get pissed off enough at someone else to launch a nuke at them, and there goes the world. Once one little nuke gets launched, oh it's ON!! "So, here's the Earth, chilling. Dang that is a sweet Earth you might say! Round? Alright, ruling out the ice caps melting, meteors becoming crash into us, the o-zone layer leaving, and the sun exploding...we're definately going to blow ourselves up. Hokay...so basically we've got China, France, India, Israel, Pakistan, Russia, the UK, and us...with nukes. We've got about 26 hundred more than anybody else, whatever." I do not claim that...if you're wondering where it's from, it's this. [link] Yeah. Hope you enjoyed that. There are many ways that the world could end, and again this is all my personal opinion. So who wants to party like it's 1999??

In other art related news, I think I've come up with a couple new ideas I'm gonna try. (Dragons, of course!) I'm not sure how well a couple of them are going to turn out, but I'll wing it. It'll take awhile too. And don't ask me when I'm going to get the drawing of my true form done, because I don't know. I've got bits and pieces of the body drawn out, I just have to put them all together. But I'm a really bad procrastinator, so who knows when you'll be seeing that...or the other really cool dragon I've drawn that I might put on a shirt. OH, I might be getting a laptop for Christmas. Might, there's a slight chance...more like a tiny splinter of a chance...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It would be very nice to have my own computer so I won't have to keep using this dinosaur of a desktop computer.

That's all I can think of for right now. Sorry it's so long...but thanks for reading!
Until next time,
~Sparky~

Don't stare into these eyes for too long, or you might fall under my spell. I'm a complicated individual who has an affinity for dragons and torn between which I like better: writing or drawing. If you can't tell, I really love to write, but I also love letting my imagination run free to see what kinds of images come out. Dragons are the number one thing I enjoy drawing, but every once in awhile, some other critter may find its' way onto the paper. And yes, I am insane...but not suffering. I'm enjoying every moment of my insanity.

Haha! :D Glad you do...they really inspired me when he said them and I just had to keep that saying. Maybe others will appreciate the wise, and sometimes crazy, wisdom that Radio has to share.
